The Edgecore EPS201 is a robust Gigabit Ethernet L2/L3 switch, boasting an impressive array of features designed to meet the demands of modern networking environments. With its 54 ports, comprised of 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 4x10G/25G SFP28 uplink ports, and 2 x 100G QSFP28 stacking ports, this switch offers versatility and high performance for various networking needs. Primarily targeted for deployment as a management switch in data center networking, enterprise access networking, or campus access networking, the EPS201 is engineered to deliver reliability and efficiency. Its design includes redundant, hot-swappable AC PSUs and 2+1 redundant fan modules, offering resilience in operation. Additionally, the switch supports both port-to-power airflow and power-to-port airflow configurations, ensuring compatibility with diverse infrastructure setups. One of the standout features of the EPS201 is its support for the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which facilitates the installation of compatible network operating system (NOS) software.
